Our history

Lino Srl was founded in 1988 by Carlo Caffa, fifth-generation of a family that for 150 years has been working the Hazelnut of Piemonte and of which it is part of its history.

Today the legacy of Carlo Caffa has been collected by the family, with an entirely female leadership that continues the tradition of a company which has made Hazelnut the heart of its business.

Since its inception the company produces semi-finished Hazelnuts products: hazelnut grain, hazelnut flour, and hazelnut paste for the ice cream and pastry industry. A choice that determines the personality and experience of the company, the excellent quality and safety of its product establish itself to become a supplier at the highest level of reality renowned in this area.

The mission is excellence in quality, therefore, during the whole processing chain from purchase of raw hazelnuts selected to a semi-finished product, the product undergoes accurate checks and a guaranteed analysis which is carried out by External institutional laboratories to provide absolute transparency.

The philosophy devoted to quality and transparency is demonstrated by the structure of the establishment, 5000 m2, built according to the needs of the food industry, and the attention to the smallest detail to ensure total security in sanitary levels with advanced machinery and attentive and prepared staff, keeping alive the same passion from the past.
